Want to ensure that you are meeting all the environmental regulations relating to vapes in the UK? If you’re a manufacturer, distributor, importer or retailer of vapes there are a range of regulations that by law you need to comply with.
Sustainable Vaping Week is returning for the second year and will build on the drive to get more consumers recycling their devices and to get the sector to be more environmentally responsible. Launching in line with International E-Waste Day on October 14, the campaign will mobilise the vaping industry across the UK to use their stores, online operations and media channels to educate vapers on the need to recycle and how to dispose of their vapes in a safe and sustainable way.
The initiative comes ahead of April 2025 – the date disposables are set to be removed from the shelves, which is predicted to have major implications for smokers, vapers and the vape waste chain. If you wish to participate in this year’s Sustainable Vaping Week and spread the message to consumers that vapes are there to be recycled, please download a range of assets below that can be used in-store, online and on social media channels.
You can also sign up for the upcoming webinar on ‘Responding to the Changing Vape Waste Landscape’, which will take place on October 17 and will explore guidance on the latest regulations, the waste management implications of the transition away from disposables, best practive vape waste initiatives and new vape recycling processes and product solutions.
